Scary that she was walking and talking with a headache an hour or so before she went to the hospital and then died of head injuries after the fact.

Yeah, kind of reminds me of the that girl that got hit in the head with a deflected puck at an NHL game (which led the NHL to putting up the safety nets).

Supposedly she was fine, immediately after the fact, and later in the evening experienced the same symptoms and ultimately died.

I really liked her in that movie.

Tragic. Can't say I've ever seen or heard of someone dying from a simple fall on the bunny hill.

I feel terrible for her two boys just now turning into teenagers and losing their mother.

when I was about 13 my dads best friend was playing 2 hand touch football on thanksgiving. he went up for a pass and when he came down he slipped and fell on his backside.

he continued to play and like 15 minutes later went and sat down on the curb and said his head hurt. they were like do you want to go inside, go to the doctor, whats up? he was like no im fine. someone was like ask him address, do you know the date, whats your wifes name. he answered all of them then started to get up someone was like whats your phone number, he looked at them and said his address. everyone was like, yeah your going to the doctor. He died a day later. It was pretty messed up and I gotta say, the guy wasnt related to me, but I knew him really well, it was a tough pill to swallow. he just fell down bumped his head and died.

her 2 kids and family will be replaying it over and over trying to make sense of it, and unfortunately it never will. easiest thing is to just say it was her time to go, hopefully they can make piece with that down the road.

tragic.
my boss had the same injury but survived.
he hit his head walking home dismantled from a bar.
woke up the next morning and couldnt walk or talk. They had to drill a hole in his skull to remove the bleeding. This was 3 years ago, and his only symptom is short-term memory loss. Which they say will probably be with him for the rest of his life.

Its crazy to think how many times we have all had falls like that and never went to the doctor. I guess you know within a couple hours if you have bleeding though. I heard someone say it feels like really bad brain freeze all of a sudden.

Seems so crazy that such a minor fall could kill, but she must have popped a vessel or something...Land the wrong way and anything can happen I guess
