Agreed... this thread degenerated into a first class hate-fest. "I don't like so-and-so's movies or music, so they should be on this list"... I could care less about Miley Cyrus, but I fully understand why she is world-famous.

Now Kim Kardashian, who was the first thing on my mind when I saw this thread, should be the alpha and omega for this list. I was first introduced to her when I saw Ray J smut her out on video. Somehow that got parlayed into a reality show and an appearance on Dancing with the Stars... Huh? Nobody cares that her daddy was one of OJ's lawyers... The only one that really got famous off of that was Johnnie Cochran. So her fame really begs to be explained.

My wife and I were having this conversation this morning while I was getting ready for work, so I'll pose it to OS, what celebrities' fame absolutely baffles you and why?

Here was our list.

Jennifer Lopez - She can't sing, she sure as hell can't act, and to the best of my knowledge she's only done one movie where she showed her breasts. It seems she is famous for dating more famous men and lots of them.

I'm pretty sure she had a sex scene with Wesley Snipes in the movie "Money Train" where she showed her breasts but i could be wrong.
