    Windows Vista problem

The week before last, I started encountering the problem of my laptop randomly freezing for anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 or 4 minutes. I tried doing system restore to mid-February, didn't work. Deleted firefox, didn't work. Ran Spybot, didn't work. Did a scan with AVG, found nothing.

I really don't want to re-install Vista on this laptop. Has anyone here experienced this?

Well Vista's a memory hog to begin with. What are your specs?
