I will never understand why people want to see people getting killed in Movies. There are a few websites out there where you can see the real thing and you dont have to sit through crappy dialogue

Re: SAW VI Discussion - Jigsaw

        Saw it. Loved it.

I re-ranked the Saw movies. Here's my current ranking:

        1) Saw III
        2) Saw VI
        3) Saw
        4) Saw V
        5) Saw II
        6) Saw IV

If you have seen the first five, you owe it to yourself to see this one IMO. Sure, there are some things in this movie that leave something to be desired, but it recaptures what Saw III did so well and definitely brings something new to the table. Not too much, but it does the job.

The major drawback is that it almost wanted to set itself up for closure, but once I found out that closure was coming too quickly I already had the tingling feeling that it was setting up story for Saw VII. Yes, I knew Saw VII was going to happen, but there is still a lot left to discuss and let happen. So as I was saying, this movie seemed to have been missing like the third-quarter of what we normally see in a movie. It's hard to explain, but it's like there was a drawn out middle and then we hit the last bit without hitting any falling action, if that makes sense. It just felt like it was missing a part of the movie, I just didn't know how to fill it in myself.

Great Saw movie, though. Definitely the best of the previous three films.

I'm stumbled on a few of those websites, and they made me feel sick. I will never get this one video I saw out of my head. However in movies its totally different, because I know its not real. When I'm watching a movie, I'm like damn holy **** or thats disgusting, but it doesnt stick with me because it was just a movie. Seeing the real thing sticks to you, at least me.

Well Blzer, this might be the first SAW film we won't get to talk about on opening weekend since this weekend I can't get to the theater, I leave for another wk trip this week, and then next weekend is shot. I am hoping a bootleg shows up soon on the net since having to wait 2 weeks to see this sucks.

Sounds good, I'll wait patiently until you get a viewing in. It was a delight in my eyes. I'm really happy what Kevin Greutert was able to do with this one. Though I'm still a big fan of Saw III in general, I'd say this is the best directed Saw movie (James Wan had his decent elements with the first movie given the budget and the confined spaces, but I just have to look on a larger scale here). Hopefully you'll be pleased with this installment.

Cool. I wonder if Extreme is going to see this soon? It's always been us three every year with the discussions. LOL!

Box Office: Jigsaw is no Match for the Supernatural

Bloody Disgusting got their hands on the early box office projects and they're staggering. While the two big horror films were tracking neck and neck, early reports show that Paranormal Activity beat the living crap out of Lionsgate's Saw VI, which would make this the first Saw since the original to not open at the #1 spot. Is Paranormal that powerful or are Saw fans still trying to get the bad taste of Saw V out of their mouth? So here's the deal: Paranormal Activity pulled in an estimated $7.4m on Friday for a potential $21.5m overall weekend. Saw VI on the other hand, took in $6.9m Friday with a weekend projection of $15.7m. The real shocker is that while Paramount's supernatural horror flick only played in 1,945 locations, Jigsaw's games took over 3,036. What's going to happen with a full marketing push and a full release? I guess now they can set their sights on Blair Witch? And what does this mean for the Saw franchise being that Saw V open to nearly DOUBLE VI?

I'd prefer this movie flops in theaters, actually. I don't want a Saw VII, especially a 3D one. I know it will still carry through, but I just hope Mark Burg is getting the message.

                        Still, this movie was great.

Saw it last night and I loved it. One of the best in this series, if not the best one. I have a hard time ranking all the movies because I like all them, but this one is better then the last 2 thats for sure.

That's how your post should read, my man. Especially in the Saw series, people want to stay away from anything that should be considered a spoiler.

I just don't want anyone to be informed of anything is all.
