    FML

I just spent the past 12 plus hours studying for an exam (6:45 pm to 8 am). I haven't slept in two days now (the night before ths I couldn't get to bed for any particular reason).

The worst part of it is........I didn't retain anyhting!!!! My mind is so cloudy I cannot remember anyhting. I wil never cram for an anatomy exam again. **** my life. I feel drunk as **** right now.

Cramming is the worst thing you can do. Rest retains information.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Not if you do it right. You shouldn't stay up all night, but study in the evening, get some sleep, and get up early and study.

"If you can't do, teach. If you can't teach, teach gym." I think that's the saying.

Well, then you're not cramming. You're studying the right way.

My roommate pulled an all-nighter for an exam this morning then someone pulled the fire alarm at the beginning of the test so they didn't even have it today.

If you wait to study you deserve to fail. I like to study a little bit at a time leading the days up to it. Best solution = putting your notes in the bathroom. Take those 10-15 minutes and read over a section of your notes.
