    Parks And Recreation

I'd probably give this a shot because Rashida Jones is on the cast. Amy Poehler leaves SNL to star in her own show. Everwood fans (despite Ann Heche's brief presence on the show) will remember Chris Pratt ("Bright" Abbott)-he will play Rashida Jone's loser boyfriend on the show.
The series is co-created by The Office writer Michael Shur and The Office adapter Greg Daniels.

Have it ready on the list. Only really saw the commercial they have on nbc, but it for sure has "The Office" feel. Which I don't mind, I love the style of the show.

It'll be a good night, two Offices then P and R.

I've liked what I have seen from the commercials so I'll be sure to tune in Thursday.

I think that NBC was smart sandwhich the 1st episode between 2 new episodes of "The Office". That alone will be the reason that I watch the 1st show.

I'm going to check it out. Amy Poehler is just "meh" to me, but the premise seems pretty funny...at least what I've read online and in last week's Newsweek.

Ditto... I'd watch it anyway, because I'm interested in seeing it, but this definitely helps and was a very smart move on NBC's part.

It looks pretty funny, but I'm worried that the inevitable Office comparisons (it's the same documentary style) will sink the show... it has a lot to live up to. I'll be watching and hoping that it's successful.

Yeah, but I think as the series continues it will differentiate itself. I really like the cast, so far.

Poehler is definitely the female Michael, and might take some getting use to. With it's obvious "Office tone" the show's originality comes into question. Rashida will keep me watching for 2-3 more episodes, but I hope I see more than I saw tonight.

I like Tony (or was his name Tom) the most after one episode. The shot at the end in the boss's office about the sawed off shotgun was hilarious.
