Me too...I like this type of thing...especially the limited eps, so you know they'll pack a good story and not go too long like Lost or some shows.

Thats exactly it. I am pretty pumped for this show. Limited episodes means no changing the story line shenanigans like they did with Lost. I would hope the episode revealing the killer has already been written in stone and we can actively try to figure it out with the clues given in the show.

This is essentially the anti-Lost.

I love episodic TV as much as anybody but the idea of having the whole thing set in stone makes more of a artistic point.

Sometimes knowing exactly where you're going in a story makes the little things mean more

The premise is great. But it can go sour quick if the acting is horrible. These types of shows tend to be very challenging for actors. Amateur ones stand out as they try to feign fear and confusion. Those are two of the most difficult things to perform, whether it be truthful or cunning.

After watching the first episode I can enjoy this on the same level I enjoyed Cloverfield. That being that I think all the characters are jackasses and look forward to seeing them all die horrible horrible deaths. Except for Uncle Marty because he showed up with a mariachi band so was instantly likable

Though at one point I thought...hey isn't that the girl from Supernatural?...then later...hey isn't that the guy from Supernatural?...and eventually why am I not watching Supernatural instead?

Just watched it on Netflix on my 360. Acting was terrible, well, beyond terrible. Why did Uncle Marty have a gun for one thing, along with all the money. All signs already point to one obvious killer, who it won't end up being because, well, it's obvious.

I actually thought from the previews that this was going to be a Murder in Small Town X type show, being a reality show. Being an actual series, even episodic, hurts it. I just hope CBS gives it the full run, as I heard it did very poor in ratings.

I was mighty pissed when CBS left us hanging with a massive cliffhanger to end the first (and only) season of "The Class"....
