T-Mobile G1! Google Phone... Talk Anything

I just bought a Samsung memoir about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I loved it, but I really wanted a smart and I always wanted to check out the G1, so I gave my wife the Memoir and I bought the G1...

I will say, this is the best damn phone I have ever saw and owned, I have played with the IPhone many time too, but man the G1 is sweet, I love the add on apps so much, I'm just shocked how many apps there are and most of them are FREE, I have all major sports apps to keep me updated, some apps have the teams full rosters and info, freaking sweet.

I also love goggles android software, I just don't know how this phone doesn't get more threads open on it.

So this thread will be for the G1 Talk.

My wife has it and likes it pretty good. I've used it to surf OS a few times when in waiting rooms or stuff like that. She has a pretty cool app called Shazam that will tell you the name, lyrics and artist of a song that might be playing on a radio or something. So I sit in waiting rooms running that app to find out the name of all the corny songs that play in there LOL.

The only thing I've seen about the phone that I don't like is the poor battery life.

i have one too. best phone i have had. This phone can do jus about anything u need it to do. Good games too.

asettings- is a great app, if lets you turn a lot of option off to save battery life. It's very useful.

It's pretty good GSW. Nice qwerty keyboard. Much better phone than the Sidekicks. Web browser is strong and it's the best PDA I've had in terms of not locking up/freezing on me.

The main thing I look for in a PDA is felxibility and reliability. When I want to use apps/features they better work.

I believe thats a fake design, also When I spoke with T-Mobile they said that if a G2 is made it won;t be coming out until the first one is out at least a year.

It also said this was Photo shopped.

G2 should be out this year. I would wait if you could. New HTC's are coming too. Plus new iPhone. Lots of new phones !!

The new one should be coming out in November, but hey the G1 is great, I have no issues with it, I personally love it just the way it is.
