I used a level app on my wife's G1 to hang some shelves in the garage the other day when I couldn't find my real level. It worked good LOL

I got the new MyTouch 3G today.

Pretty nice device. A whole lot more fun to use than the Blackberry 8900 I took back.

i love my g1. the mytouch doesn't seem worth it to me, considering it's just a g1 with a slightly bigger screen and no hard keyboard.

But i hear it improves upon everything the G1 did. I'm thinking about picking it up when i'm up for renewal this October.

there's nothing to improve upon, seeing the specs, it's the exact same phone, without a real keyboard, and if you root your g1 (similar to jailbreaking the iphone) you can put some modded roms on it that make it unbelievably fast. hell, somebody even dumped the mytouch files, so if you wanted you could run that on your g1, but it's no different.

I'm thinking about picking up this phone, I don't really care for OS (Operating Systems so theres no mix up lol) BUT lately I've been really digging Android. I would seriously pick this up in a heartbeat. My only prob is I see theres another android rumored to be coming soon and I'm kinda liking that alittle more than the G1 so I think I'm gonna wait. But I might just pick up the G1 anyways

if you're referring to the hero, it's not coming to t-mobile in the US.

Yeah thats what I was talking about, and yeah I already know it wasn't coming to T-Mobile in the US, I'm with ya on the lol, I was & kinda hoping they (T-Mobile) got it but looks like they not.
