    The Number 23

Yes here's another one of my movies threads, i seem to watch a movie every other night now

Like the title says, this one is about the #23. Just finished watching it and it was wow. Jim Carey at his finest. I guess if you count the Truman Show this is the second movie i've ever seen him where he's playing a serious role.

The movie will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. It was difinetely a suspenseful movie.

    Here's a little Synopsis:
Walter Sparrow becomes obsessed with a novel that he believes was written about him. As his obsession increases, more and more similarities seem to arise
I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a suspenseful movie with a very twist oriented ending.

I thought it was very "meh." The ending left a lot to be desired, and the story flashbacks weren't very appealing compared to the rest of the movie (and I've seen both versions, the unrated version brings a few of unnecessary seconds of film). Most importantly, people that see numbers like this find any indication to add, subtract, divide, or count 23 in anything where they push it to no end. I instantly saw it with the collar, addresses, etc. I understand that's the point of the movie, but you know... that didn't appeal to me as much as I hoped it would have.

Don't get me wrong, I thought Jim Carrey was great (about as good as his role in The Cable Guy), but I think I was just hoping for something better. It was well executed, though. The tone set the movie well and never dropped point.

It should definitely be seen by people interested though, so I certainly recommend it.

The movie was horrible and the twist you could see a mile away.
