The first one I had, I used all the time. Then I ran it through the washing machine. Went without it for however long. When I got a new phone recently (Pantech Slate, btw, which is pretty nice, especially since I got it for free), I bought a 'tooth to go with it, and I haven't even used it. Just always use speaker. Pretty much feels like I threw away forty bucks.

I work outside all day walking and reading meters, so a bluetooth seemed like a no brainer for hands free talking while I worked.
In one year, I went through 3 of them.
The first two I sweated into submission last summer. Both went wonky in the audio and I figure the days moisture from my head was doing something to the speaker/microphone. The third just froze out in the winter.
Untill they start making them tougher, I'll pass now. -

You know what? I'm an idiot (no pun intended
). Your post, deaduck, reminded me ... the phone I had when I was using the Bluetooth all the time didn't have speakerphone! That's why I used it all the time.
