Re: The Cyclops Appreciation Thread...
Takes a slug right to the chest? And he's still standing?
Damn, if bullets can't stop him (which lets face it, aside from some decent fighting skills is really all Frankie Boy has), I don't think he can do anything to stop him.
P.S. Doesn't the Punisher murder people? Isn't he an anti-hero and wanted by the police? Yeah, that's who kids should grow up idolizing. A deranged lunatic who totes guns and kills people.
"The Punisher is a vigilante who considers killing, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence and torture to be acceptable crime-fighting tactics."
I'll take the blind man who overcame his handicap, became a lawyer, fights crime, and gives to his community (Hells Kitchen) even when "the job" has taken everything from him. A true hero and inspiration = Matthew Michael Murdock.

And that's why Daredevil has the Punisher beat on the dead girlfriend tally.
New York needs both of these dudes though. If you haven't read it, pick up Brubaker's first arc of Daredevil. It's amazing. Matt Murdock is arrested, and the Punisher gets himself thrown in jail to protect Daredevil from in jail riots. Matt can't openly do Daredevil stuff or he won't be able to maintain plausible deniability.
Murdock and Castle fighting back to back in a Ryker's jail riot? What? Comics don't get better than that!Comment

While Punisher is capital punishment at its finest.
Daredevil would beat up an assailant, and then try him court because he gets off on hearing himself prosecute.
Punisher would maim, torture, and dismember him...then ship his bodyparts out to other possible criminals - for them to be weary of their wrongdoings.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: The Cyclops Appreciation Thread...
At least, like Cyclops, Daredevil is a hero (albeit a better one). Frankfurter is basically no better than Venom... A psycho (a cool one yes) who kills people and takes the law into his own hands. Not exactly a hero by any stretch.Comment

Re: The Cyclops Appreciation Thread...
Two words, Silver Surfer. He that wields the power cosmic rules the galaxy! Not to mention the fact that he almost pulled Sue Richards from Reed in the FF movie. As far as X-men go? Remy Lebeau (Gambit), who would have pulled Sue Richards from Reed. Superheroes can't live by bread alone, baby!Comment
