Stewaat, homie, why is it terrible? Coming from Em, I doubt it's scripted.

The man is a genius. He brought complex rhyme schemes into the mainstream, and has done so much for hip hop and music and general.

Dude, I know you love Atmosphere, and I dig them, too, but why so much hate on Eminem?

And gta, you're top ten must be some unknown alien super Emcees, because I don't know a top ten list that Eminem couldn't sniff.

Seriously, I'm not trying to hang on dude's nuts, but I'm just baffled by the amount of hatred to one of the best to ever do it.
No one is disrepescting Eminem. Everyone knows he is a great rapper and his legacy will never be forgotten. However, that doesnt mean didnt he fall off. He is not in his prime anymore. Like anyone else he has already hit his high point and we will not see a album from Eminem that will surpass the MM LP his best album he has put out. Just like Jay-Z or Ken Griffey Jr they have had great careers in their repesective career field but they both had hit their prime and now are just average or slightly above average talent.

Jay-Z is my favorite rapper but American Gangster or Kingdom Come didnt even come close to surpassing Reasonable Doubt, as it shouldnt.

Ken Griffey is my favorite baseball player but you will never see him hit 40+ HR's a year and win MVP's.

Just like Eminem no one is disrespecting him but he has already hit his high point and his last few albums shows this. Relapse is an average album, sorry thats just the truth. A lot of songs are simply skips to me on his cd. Eminem is still a decent rapper but it is not the same Eminem you hear when you wipe off the dust off the Marshall Mathers LP, thats all were saying here.

I don't hate Eminem at all. That freestyle though, man that was garbage haha. That's all I was saying.

Personally I don't feel his new music because...it just doesn't appeal to me. He has some good entertaining tracks but the lyrics aren't for me.

I hate to be one of these "his old stuff was better" people but it feels very fitting right here. I guess I liked his "darker" stuff.

As far as technical skills go, Eminem is the best to ever do it. He may not have the best discography, but that don't matter when I'm talking about who is/was the best. Em isn't even my favorite to listen to. Hell, I'd argue that Joe Budden's discog is better than Eminem's, but Eminem is still a better emcee.

Wow @ at no one in here mentioning the Canibus reference/comparison. Anyways its spot on, its funny how Eminem can get away with talking about little to nothing in alot of his verses, but yet a rapper like Canibus has been plagued, and slammed by fans and critics alike for his entire career for just being lyrically out of this world, and even he has some nice songs with concepts, and depth if you take the time listen to some of his music. As far as this album is concerned, I definitely fall into the underwhelmed category. After years of him being off the scene, I expected more, and I expected to hear an artist that had grown musically, but it seems he's more concerned with going back in time, and trying to capture what he once was all at the age of 36.... Well, its not sayin much, but Relaspe is better than Encore, but not better than MMLP, SSLP, The Eminem Show, or even Infinite.

I can argue it because I enjoy Budden's music, and have listened to everything he has done. It's definitely up there, to me.

I hope by Dre you mean Andre 3000 because any list with Dr. Dre as a top 10 rapper, ahead of 2Pac and Jay-Z is comical.

When I heard this album all i can say was "oh, EM where art thou?" Serious where the hell did he go he fell off faster than David Ortiz. His last album that i enjoyed was Marshall Mathers. Out of the 20 tracks in this album I only liked one.

I kinda cheat cuz I count Dre's beats and his rapping from the Chronic and 2001. Jay-Z is hot but seriously, all the guys above him I can listen to their albums all day long without getting bored
