Interesting to see how "Hangover 2" works the "hangover theme" this time around.

Same. I thought it was pretty funny but not nearly to the extent of which people say. Alot of the humor was a bit dumb and cliche (asian coming out of the car, tiger in the hotel room, etc). I did laugh at the Gremlin's reference and the guy telling him he was good to go into the right lane when he wasn't because stuff like that is quirky, but overall I didn't find it to be particularly wonderful.

To each his own in regards to the movie. But how the world can you say that an asian jumping out of the trunk of a car and a tiger in a bathroom is cliche?

To be fair, this Asian was naked and it showed his man forest. Not sure if that is cliche, but if it is, tell me the other movies where this occurs because I want to laugh that hard again.

Thats funny because I agree about the asian thing. Worst part of the movie IMO. Goofy/loser/weird asian guy speaking english with heavy/ridiculous asian accent is way cliche.

The Asian guy was the dumbest part of the movie to me.

That's not really saying much, but still, this movie was far from it for me. I watched it once and didn't see what all the hype was about. I tried to give it another chance to see if I was just having an off day or something, but I couldn't even sit through the entire movie without getting bored. The only things I found funny were Allen and his weird little quips, and that's mostly because I'm a big fan of Galifianakis.

Yeah, I didn't laugh at half of his lines, especially the "Hahaha it's funny because he's fat!" things. I don't see how those were funny. But the random stuff in the desert was pretty hilarious, like that noise he makes when signals for Doug to be brought out, or when they toss the money bag and he shies away from it, or when he calls them "gay boys". I thought those things were pretty funny, but nothing else really.

Oh, and not completely tied to the Asian guy, but in the desert when they signal that the deal is on, that was very funny!

The concept of something unusual/visually funny in a person's trunk that starts running as soon as you open it has been done before. Think of Jackass and the whole midget/fat man chasing him sketch. A dangerous animal in a foreign and personal environment used for comedic effect also seems rather hackneyed. Overall, not the most creative or funny things in the world.

I felt like I was watching a rated R version of Dude, Where's My Car?

This was actually my second favorite comedy of 2009. I Love You, Man was my favorite... such a hilarious movie.

Both are great though, I'll be watching this again this week!

                                Agreed. Ken Jeong annoys me.
