Anyone else getting the "car warranty" robo-calls?

I've been getting them for two weeks or so. I haven't answered, but everything I look the number up on Google (which I always do with numbers I don't know), everyone is basically saying it's this stupid "car warranty" scam. They've used multiple phone numbers... 931 numbers, 215 numbers, 773 numbers... those are just the ones I've gotten.

My mom has gotten them and my buddy has gotten them as well... all on cell phones, which are supposed to automatically be on the "Do Not Call" list.

Well, apparently the FTC is going to start investigating.

I use to get those all the time, annoying as hell.

I get a ton of telemarketer calls for some guy named, "Alvin Benes." I mean 7 days a week at least 2 calls a day on my cell phone from differant companies asking for this guy. And I continue to tell him I'm not Alvin Benes please stop calling blah blah blah. And they dont stop, so now everytime they call me and I have time I answer the phone and act like a grumpy deaf old man lol. And then I prank call those people who call me, I love payback

I have been getting those on my cell phone for months now, although I never answer a call without a 513 area code(because it's almost always a telemarketer). I probably have about 3 or 4 of the same voicemails from them on my phone right now because I check my voicemail maybe once or twice every two months. They're not going to fool someone who does not own a car

I'm getting them too. I don't know how they could get the number.

I got about 4 of them in a two week span. Haven't had one for about a month now.

I get them on my work issued phone all the time. Annoying as all hell.

It says if you want to be on the do not call list press "2" on mine, but when I go to press "2" they hang up.

I have been getting them for like 6 months now, at least 2 to 3 a week. Are they really related to your actual warranty? I mean my warranty was really up so I assume thats how they got my info. every time they call though they say this is the last warning lol.

Yes if your warranty is really up or could be up, you will get legitimate calls or mailings.

I know someone who doesn't even own a car get told that their warranty is expired.
