Was she some famous reporter on a big network, or was she just doing local news probably watched by 500 people if even that?

I'm wondering if this is just a disjointed group trying to trick Rizo into using it, like putting info out to find out the source that got back to him, so if he plays it, they'll know the source
instead of just making him play itLast edited by l3ulvl; 11-21-2025, 02:04 AM.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

idunno what to do with Rizo, he's been saving his idol and then crying and then taking out his friend with fake idol, while calling himself Rizgod, he's hard to root for, even if he has sneaky good gameplay, why be a jerk about it?Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

That felt like such a stupid vote.
Sage and Kristina turn on Steven just to now be down in numbers going in to the final 5....
They voted him out because they can't beat him? Know who else you can't beat? Rizo,Sophi and Savannah in a final 5 vote because they now control who goes home next vote.👍 1Comment

that was so bizarre, and I was kinda wondering in my head if Soph would use her advantage to finally take it from Rizo, but then production showed her contemplating it and instantly you know that's not gonna happen. That bugs me so much about what Survivor has become, it's just everyone gets idols, everyone gets advantages, and the TV audience gets misdirected constantly, it's so annoyingWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Going in to the finale, my guess on who is most/least likely to win based on if they're in the F3:
1. Savannah (she's obviously someone who can talk a lot so she could win the jury votes)
2. Rizo (He'll be the guy in the finals who makes the jury laugh and you'll think that means they're on his side, but he doesn't get their votes)
3. Sage
4. Sophi
5. Kristina
But I fear the final 3 winds up Sage, Sophi, Kristina because that would suck.
Listening to On Fire (too bad I never realized this was a thing years ago, it's actually a good listen), the way Jeff talks about things, it really just feels like they all feel that the game and show would be too boring if it's just simplistic.that was so bizarre, and I was kinda wondering in my head if Soph would use her advantage to finally take it from Rizo, but then production showed her contemplating it and instantly you know that's not gonna happen. That could be true, but we won't know unless we get to see it.
Because in today's Survivor where it's much more about alliances than eras pre idols and advantages, the game could very easily just turn in to the numbers game where the biggest alliance will just steamroll everyone because nobody can save themselves and there's no twists or idols or advantages that could change the momentum in the game or could cast doubt in people's mind on what the vote should be.

First all female final 3 in 10 years (20 seasons) and just 3rd time it's ever happened in the final 3 format.
Savannah might have had one of the worst final tribal answers ever and that's crazy to say now given how I just said before that she could talk her way to the win and had to be the fave to win going in to that. That family question from Christina was brutal. Exposing her lack of a connection with any of the jurors by having her admit she doesn't even know 90% of the jurors family. That was painful to watch.
As soon as Sage revealed her military background and revealing that the Sage everyone saw on the outside was basically an amplified version of herself to mask her intelligence, that was a move I thought could win her the game.
I really thought based on the answers that Savannah talked her way out of the win and Sophi was for sure winning. I'm real shocked she won, I thought the jury fully turned on her. But also, back to back seasons of a 5-2-1 vote when its so rare to even get all 3 jurors a vote.
The entire season I knew Rizo was on S50, but I could've sworn I heard Savannah was on it too, so I figured it'd only happen if they both lost since they just did WaW and Jeff said he didn't want to bring winners back so soon. That's what made her winning even more shocking to me.
For all the "___ is the next ___" talk for decades, I really think Savannah is the closest we've had to another Parvati.Comment

I actually thought Savannah did a good job with that question, she didn't remember specific names but she was able to remember a lot about the jury and their families, it was set up for her to be embarrassed but she was able to save face with all her other knowledge
but honestly, it was Rizo or Savannah, so once one was gone, the other would win, I was a little surprised they were put up against each other in fire, with your only chance to win being to put yourself in and build your resume by beating the best at fire, but i mean, idunno, Soph and Sage weren't gonna win either way
If Soph went in and made fire and knocked Savannah out she had a chance, that's my only surprise, she didn't try, but also, why bother lolWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

If she knew the most recent people at least then she could be like "I haven't spoken to X, Y or Z in over a week while having very little sleep or food, my memory isn't good right now".I actually thought Savannah did a good job with that question, she didn't remember specific names but she was able to remember a lot about the jury and their families, it was set up for her to be embarrassed but she was able to save face with all her other knowledge

That definitely was a baited question, because would Sophi know too? If Sophi chimed in after Savannah failed and answered the question herself, that might have won her points too.
Jawan and Rizo are the only people Savannah knew longer than Sophi, the rest of the jurors they knew for the same amount of time.
But like I said when it happened, Sage and Kristina cost themselves the game. They voted out Steven which cost them the numbers leading to Kristina being picked off so easily and Sage only made F3 because she was the better option to bring over Savannah/Rizo.
If they voted out Sophi, you go in to the final 5 with 3 on their side vs Rizo/Savannah. Not just that, they thought Rizo was using his idol so the f5 in their mind would just mean no advantages while worst case 1 of those 2 wins immunity and they just vote out the other.
F4 then probably leads to Steven vs Rizo firemaking if Sage or Kristina wins immunity.Comment
