hell no. i think she's done with the Treo. She's on her 2nd one now that she got when the first crapped out now the one she has is on its last legs. Neither of us have land lines anymore so it's important that she gets what she's happy with. We're going to go play with both at the store tomorrow.

Re: Palm Pre
Dude, tell her to get the Tour. I became a 1st-time Blackberry owner a week ago when my gf bought the Tour as a present for my bday. After getting used to everything, i now understand why so many ppl have raved about blackberries. They do everything I could possibly want at such a fast pace. Blows my old HTC Mogul out the water.....well i'm a blackberry guy. my girl is a current treo owner and she is trying to decide between the blackberry tour and the pre. I've always tried to convert her to blackberry but she has refused. now she's strongly considering one or the other. i've done the research for her and am trying to be as objective as possible. i've told her to go ahead and get the Pre since she's familiar with Palm but she's saying the keyboard is killing the Pre for her. I don't want her to get the Tour and not like it. I'm going to just her play with my 8900 Curve this weekend and we'll go to the Sprint store and play with both phones.Huge Fan of the New Orleans Saints & New Orleans Pelicans!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

she got the Tour. She really wanted the Pre but the keyboard size killed it. If there were a virtual keyboard on it, I think she would've gotten it.Dude, tell her to get the Tour. Re: Palm Pre
my friend has one of these, and it's making me want one.
My 2 year contract with Verizon expires real soon, and Sprint looks cheaper. Plus, they said that Sprint roams on Verizon's network, which I don't know if that's true or not. If so, it wouldn't be that bad dropping Verizon's nice network.
I started browsing verizon phones since my contract is near the end, and Verizon just doesn't really have anything that screams to me. It's all vanilla gimped phones, which was tolerable when I signed up 2 years ago, but the scene is exploding with the iphone, web os, and android.Comment

Re: Palm Pre
The app store is still in beta...but I've read that official apps are going to start trickling in soon. Looking at all the "homebrew" apps already available, seems like its realllly easy to develop for. My guess is that Palm just wants to make sure everything is perfect and have a pay system in place.Comment

Re: Palm Pre
To those who have the phone, how is it now after a few months with it? i am in the market for either this or the Blackberry Curve 8330. If any of you guys have ESPN mobile, how is it? Can you watch live college games on it?Comment

Re: Palm Pre
It was funny to see the comment a couple pages back about the creepy commercials.
That woman is actually a somewhat obscure local folk musician here in Toronto. She also does acting, but I know her for her music, so it was weird to see her show up in these commercials.
