Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Cryus-Hilarious. I've liked everything John C. Reilly has been in. I'm not sure why this movie wasn't more well known. The dialouge and akward situations between John C. Reilly and Jonah hill were hilarious. Marisa Tomei rounds out a solid cast. I would definently recommend it.
Stay- My friend recommend I watched this and he said it has a very complex plot. My interest level dropped about half-way through the movie. It was complex yes, but not interesting enough to hold my attention. Wouldn't recommend.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
500 Days Of Summer - I finally decided to watch this after hearing nothing but postive reviews from everyone and the reviews were spot on. One of the better movies I've seen. Loved the acting, the soundtrack, pretty much every scene..
Spoilerespecially the expectations/reality scene because it hit the nail on the head and the scene where it shows him happy going to work then suddently switches to him exiting the elevator looking like a mess. I've been through a crappy breakup before and this movie was so true from the instant you can tell she was beginning to feel uninterested to the post-breakup depression. Very well done movie and so so real.
Up in the Air - I enjoyed this movie as well. I'm a huge aviation guy so I loved all the shots from the air of the different cities, airport scenes, etc. I think it would be interesting to live that life he had as I love travelling, but obvisouly you would get burnt out from it. All in all well done movie.Last edited by Buckeyes_Doc; 06-09-2011, 05:33 PM.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Social Network and Inception. Both good movies, but I loved Inception. I'll be watching it again soon.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Went and saw the new xmen movie tonight and absolutely loved it. Orginally when i saw previews for this movie i thought it would a watered down version of the other xmen movies but man was I wrong! It takes a little while to get going but once it does it's an awesome addition to the series and has some great action sequences, top notch acting and a good story. 9/10 from me
Also saw The Dilemma starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James and man what a let down!!! Seriously one of the most unfunny comedies I have ever seen. Despite a pretty good cast it was pure crap and I'm so glad I didn't pay to see this movie at the cinema. I usually love Vince Vaughn and don't mind Kevin James but this was a stinker. 2/10Last edited by Jonesy; 06-11-2011, 08:33 AM.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Decided to watch Resident Evil: Afterlife on Netflix today. Knowing how poor quality I thought the 2nd and 3rd Resident Evil movies were, I was expecting a bad movie but hooooooly crap that was ****ing terrible, imo.
The only part of the movie I was interested in seeing how they did - Wesker - was brutal. Just...bad all around.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Priest-6.8
I wasn't expecting the best movie in the world nor even a good movie after reading all the reviews, but boy was the movie pretty poor. It wasn't necessarily terrible but just undeveloped. The story would of been better if it there was more to it.
Not only was the story underdeveloped but it was very cliche and predictable as well. The action scenes were alright however the cgi in many segments were pretty bad.
For some strange reason i wanted to like it, I truly did. I'm a fan of vampires and werewolves and seeing how this sort of took the vampire lore in a different direction it would of been very cool if more was explained seeing how the movie started at the end of the war between priest and vampires. I like Paul Bethany and Karl Urban, I just wish they're roles weren't so one dimensional.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I have watched "Road To Perdition" 3 times in the past week. The more I watch the more it has climbed to my top 5 all time favorites. The interaction between Hanks and his son, enhanced by the soundtrack, is solid. And Paul Newman is the man!STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Just Go With It: Incredibly predictable, and it drags in spots. And you'll have to get over the ridiculously improbable premise of Adam Sandler having a chance with the hottest woman on Earth. But once you get over that stuff, it's pretty funny. I laughed pretty much throughout, and that's all I ask of a comedy is to make me laugh.
Perfectly Okay would be how I'd describe this.
Also, as tremendous as Brooklyn Decker looks throughout this movie, and she's pretty breathtaking, Jennifer Aniston brings it pretty strong as well. So, if you don't like the movie, at least it's incredibly strong in the eye candy department.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Right now I'm watching Why Did I Get Married Too?"Okay, here's the story. I come from the gutter. I know that. I got no education... but that's okay. I know the street, and I'm making all the right connections. With the right woman, there's no stopping me. I could go right to the top."

No review just gonna tell you the movie and of course have the IMDB link.
I watched The Caine Mutiny (1954) One of the true classics of cinema and it's even in color for those of you who suddenly have eye problems watching B&W moviesMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
