Another good ghost flick is The Entity (1982) starring Barbara Hershey & Ron Silver. Atmosphere is well done and it is loosely based on fact but take that with a grain of salt. Regardless it is a fun ghost flick. It is about a women who is attacked by an unseen entity.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I remember The Entity.... sort of creepy scary .
Just watched the remake of Straw Dogs (never saw the original, but now will). Cyclops really can't pull off a lead role. Sort of got segmented, especially toward the end. Not necessarily my kind of movie but held my interest enough and like the ending. Doesn't help the Southern stereo type much....hehe.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Watched two movies at the dollar theater yesterday.
Project X. Way over the top with a decent amount of funny moments. It does exactly what it intended to do. My only knock was that it didn't spend enough time with character development--unlike Superbad.
Safe House. Very solid government conspiracy theory/action movie. Denzel is very good as usual. Easy recommend.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 04-22-2012, 07:39 PM.Comment

Just caught colombiana. Entertaining for sure but nothing special for an assassin flick other than looking at the beautiful zoe saldana the whole movie.

I watched Sherlock Homes 2 (a game of shadows) last night and man what a ride! RDJ is so awesome as Homes and some of the special effects etc in this movie are just awesome. Something I think that deserves a Blu Ray purchase from me. 8.5/10.Comment

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocal - Very good entertainment. Of course it had those, "WTF, Yeah right" moments but that's what makes these movies so good. For an action movie over 2 hours I didn't find a minute of it boring. Tom Cruise is still a badass.
Shark Night: I knew this was going to be terrible and cliche so that is why I watched it. It actually wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be, and the characters weren't as dumb as they usually are in these types of movies.
Division III: Football's Finest: I was browsing movies and I came across this where Andy Dick plays a hardcore football coach, I was immediately intrigued. Andy Dick plays his part well as the over-the-top football coach and has plenty of funny lines. The football scenes were shot pretty well also. It had a lot of offensive humor and tons of cursing but it provided a good laugh for 90 minutes.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I watched Wrong Turn 4 the other day. It was bad, I figured it would be though based on Wrong Turn 2 and 3. The first one was actually good, but they have been getting progressively worse.
The acting in this one was just horrible. I mean, it's like they just went outside and paid a few random people, who had no experience with acting, to be in the movie. It was just horrible acting, that combined with poor writing, this movie sucked. It's weird how the first movie of the series could be so good, but the rest be soooooooo bad.Comment

MI: Ghost Protocol
Thought it was great until the ending. The very end I mean. Just erase the most intresting plot point like that. Also I kept thinking that guy was Jason Bateman.
Sleeping Beauty
The girl that played Baby Doll in Sucker Punch sleeping naked. It felt like watching a book that was skipping pages and chapters all over the place with an intresting side story there's only glimpses of. There's a good story there, just wasn't told as well as it should've been. With the massive ammounts of nudity and large ammount drug use I'm waiting to read a story about someone getting this mixed up as a kids movie.Comment

All Good Things http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1175709/
Just watched this tonight. I liked it. Ryan Gosling did a good job in a role one isn't used to seeing him in. He was a real creep. The movie is loosely based on true events. That made me do a little research afterwards. And, oh yeah, there's a brief topless scene of Kirsten Dunst.Last edited by SlimKibbles; 04-25-2012, 12:10 AM.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Terri: I'm not sure of how I feel about this movie. It had a lot of good elements, good story, likable characters but the ending and the way it wrapped up leaved me wanting more.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment
