I haven't seen the 12 Angry Men remake so I can't comment on it.
As for Glengarry Glen Ross it probably slipped by you because it's not a big budget spectacle though it's a very well written and strong character driven movie. Some folks say it's also one of the last truly great acting performances by Al Pacino as well.
Lemmon's character Shelley "The Machine" Levine's story is a really neat updated take on the whole Death of a Salesman story. It's a fantastic movie so I hope you check it out.

. Well casted and good use of cameo appearances, and it really tried to break more rules than say Knocked Up or Superbad, without involving Seth Rogen at all. Plus, Vegas is always something worth seeing. I need to first figure out its lasting appeal before considering buying it on Blu-ray when it comes out, but for the time being it was a great laugh out loud flick.
