The Last Waltz (currently on Amazon).

Was never really big into The Band and have always wanted to watch this and man, if you're into this music genre, it's damn good. There's a documentary on Tubi about them which I think you could watch before (as I did) or after. The only artist joining in I don't care for is Neil Diamond. Clapton was great of course as was Dr. John, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison. Must watch with the volume up on good speakers.

Bad Boys for Life

I really enjoyed this one. It was a solid action flick. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have such good chemistry I could watch them just hang out and talk **** all day lol. Story was pretty good and the action was really on point with nothing to over the top. The side cops were all pretty good too. Love me some Vanessa Hudgens. Really fun movie IMO [emoji106].

Love this movie. The sound is so great, I really regret not seeing this in theaters but
I got my atmos soundbar purring though. Wooo, what a heart pumpin movie.

I concur about Gifted. That was an excellent movie. The little girl was so good in it to. As was Evans and the other actress. Good stuff.

So this is only the 2nd Tarantino film I’ve seen. I was actually expecting it to be way more graphic in terms of violence. Really enjoyed it though.

Finally got around to seeing Pawn Master. Serviceable performances around. Not a blockbuster of course and not out-doing probably one of my all time favorites in Searching For Bobby Fisher, but worth a look.

His earlier films are a lot more grounded, but still feature great tension, dialogue, and typically an astounding soundtrack from top to bottom. Not to mention some fantastic performances.

Yeah I’ll have to try and watch some more of his films because I did really enjoy this one.

IMO that was his absolute best. I highly suggest you watch these Tarantino flicks asap.

1. Reservoir Dogs - His first and one of my top 3. A great romp.

2. Pulp Fiction - I don't think this movie has aged well. However a lot of memorable performances. A fun movie.

3. Kill Bill Vol 1 - A great homage to Kung Fu Theater type films. Lot's of fun

4. Jackie Brown - A cool flick. Very old school.

5. Dejango Unchained - I love this one. Jamie Fox was great as was Dicaprio.

6. True Romance - He wrote this and it is a really fun movie with some outstanding performances from Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken and Christian Slade.

7. The Hateful Eight - Really slow burn, but a great western.

My wife and I went to see "Richard Jewell" yesterday. ($3.50 per matinee - can't complain). We both enjoyed it. The guy was a goober, and right when you thought he couldn't be more stupid, he then surprised you with his intelligence. He was simple and had a kind heart. An inquisitive type. Probably misunderstood (if he's portrayed accurately). Sam Rockwell is fun. I knew the basics of the storyline, so no shockers. But to see how the media destroyed this man and became their immediate target makes you realize how this could have been anyone. Good movie. Decent pace.
