    Doubt

Out on DVD. Not the kind of flick that probably grabs the attention of this crowd, but a pretty good drama. The gleen for Meryl Streep left me a long time ago, but she got me back with The Manchurian Candidate remake and this film. Philip Seymour Hoffman is pretty much money all the time.

    No spoilers.

I might check it out. From the previews I thought the premise was very limited and predictable/boring/he said she said. However it got nice ratings on the ole RT so it'll be looked at.

The movie was put together well, good acting and what not, but it was predictable.

Well, it is an adaptation of a stage play, you know?

              Re: Doubt

I really enjoyed it, as Philip Seymour Hoffman is my favorite actor on the planet. I thought the acting, direction and pacing were all very solid. I give it an 8/10.

I also thought the following was very cool and very good for getting great, honest performances out of the actors from a director's standpoint:

I enjoyed this as well. Good acting all around and the ending, while a bit disappointing, definately made for some interesting discussion/or debates.
