Re: A-Team remake (2010)
This is actually one of the few big explosion type movies that I want to see. Something about it makes me believe that the plot will at the very least be believable and interesting."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: A-Team remake (2010)
I haven't seen it but that's the same thing I thought. I'm not expecting much in plot for A-Team. Not sure why anyone would*
I posted the critics comment because it related to the development of the film and how it was designed.
*I do expect plot in all films. I think that's the basis of all media, but just because I expect it doesn't mean I'm gonna get it. I already know the intentions behind A-Team. I won't blast the movie for being what it wants to be. I don't agree with it, but the audience has spoken.
IMO this pretty much explained the story that leads up to the tv show. When the tv show comes on the narrator gives comments about them... this movie basically explains the story of how it happened.
I'd say it was done well, and going in not knowing that this was going to be what was happening would please some fans of the show. I guess in a way it sets it up for a part 2, going along for any random type of story (whichever they choose) from the tv show or whatever.
Pretty much pick up where the show started.Comment
