Anyone been to the House of Blues in Boston? HELP!
Hey guys. I'm headed to a concert at the HOB two Saturday's from now, and my buddies have already gotten general admission tickets. However, on the seating charts and the tickets for sale, it lists two types of general admission: GA FLOOR, and GA GENERAL ADMISSION. Anyone that's been to the HOB, do you have any idea if they are different? I don't want to get stuck in the wrong seating area. Thanks!Tags: None -

I really don't know, but if I had to guess based on my experience working concert security, looking at the seating chart GA Floor will get you on the floor, GA General Admission will get you to the second floor balcony or stadium seats (if they are open). -

I have been, and it shouldn't be a problem. They have seats on the third floor that the pricier tickets get you access to. The Floor seats are for the floor and the second floor balcony. There will be guys checking tickets to get to the third floor and I don't really know why anyone would want to go way up there and forego the intimacy of the venue.
It is a great venue though, probably the best in Boston, and I've noticed a lot of acts that normally would go to the Palladium have been going to the HoB which is a huge plus. I saw Opeth with Enslaved the first weekend of May and everyone I was with came away impressed. We watched from the second floor during the opening act and the sound was a bit spotty but on the floor it was perfect. The security patrols the floor to make sure things don't get too out of control but they were mostly hands off and did a very good job.Comment
