Huge Bond fan here who is extremely excited for this release. Also, for those of you with Netflix, they have all Bond films up to The World Is Not Enough on instant stream.

Maybe he goes undercover? Although, that wouldn't make sense in this franchise.

Very gritty look, Maybe it'll be somewhat similar to The Living Daylights (I think it was that one) where Bond is stripped of the 007 status and goes it alone.

I think that's license to kill
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Right, I think that's what it is. I wasn't the biggest Timothy Dalton fan.

                    Re: Bond 23

I know that eventually someone will have to take over from Craig as a new Bond, but if they ever revert back to a more cavalier, less intense 007 then I'll be done with the series.

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace(Yes, I absolutely love the much maligned QoS) are IMO, 2 notches above all the other Bond movies. That one Skyfall photo gives me confidence that they're not going to soften the edges of Craig's Bond.

Bond movies have always been rentals for me, I'm going to see Skyfall opening weekend in the theater.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yeah I like direction they have taken with the news ones as well. I liked most of the old movies as well but the new 'more bad ***' Bond is awesome imo...

Still, Craig has been pretty suave and charismatic.

Agreed, absolutely love the two new Bond movies. Hope they keep going in this direction with them.

He's basically Connery for this generation except maybe a little more rough around the edges. This is what I think the Bond franchise was initially trying to do with Dalton by making the series a little darker but fans rejected it at the time. This time around though we got a guy who has captured the essence of Bond and aided with one very good script and one so-so script. I have high hopes for Skyfall.

It's been said (within the past year or so) that QoS was a victim of the writer's strike, which I can understand. Still, I think it has more good things than bad things. Not to mention one of my favorite 007 scenes in any of the films.

I still want more Casino Royale than Quantum of Solace though.

CR was just that damn good.
