So MTV is having throwback Thursdays? Not MTV2, but MTV? Is it late at night or what? Wasn't Ren and Stimpy on Nickeloden at one time too? (don't remember what channel I used to watch it on) That show is not for the children. I used to love watching it though.

So MTV is having throwback Thursdays? Not MTV2, but MTV? Is it late at night or what? Wasn't Ren and Stimpy on Nickeloden at one time too? (don't remember what channel I used to watch it on) That show is not for the children. I used to love watching it though.

I think everything is on MTV2 -- Friday nights is when they do the whole thing with old commercials/videos, etc. I think.

But yeah, Nick still showed Ren and Stimpy reruns as recently as last year -- I remember seeing several of the tamer episodes played over and over again. I tend to stop and watch whenever I see that show on, and I was pleased to see that MTV had some different episodes -- it was "Space Madness" over and over again it seemed like.

It was on Nick when I was watching it most of the time as a kid, though it was on MTV at the same time (which was really weird now that I think about it) during the Beavis and Butthead era. The early episodes like the aforementiond "Space Madness" were a little toned down, but Nick showed everything including the bloody head fairy and the surrealist later episodes when I was a kid...

I know now why my mom was horrified by a lot of it when I was younger... haha, it really isn't a kids show though much of it beyond the gross-out stuff goes above most kids heads.

I saw the last 5 mins of an ep of this and was horrified. Some complete and utter douche got trashed on his birthday and didn't propose when his girlfriend was expecting. She's all pissed, and he wins her back with this massive pendant necklace the size of a golf ball at least. She was amazingly douchy too, I can't watch this show anymore, I'll go crazy. She went from "I may have to think about breaking up if he doesn't want the next step" to "Ooooh, i love you, pretty necklace" in .5 seconds.

Even if I was rich I can't imagine being that much of a douchebag.

Well now that OSUFan has gotten me and pretty much everyone I know addicted to the HCWDB site, I think I'll be gving this show a regular spot in my TV rotation...

I love these 'cringe worthy' reality shows...

Two things:

If she puts up with it, she deserves whatever she gets. I don't have a lot of sympathy for people who stay in toxic relationships. There are plenty of other people in this world who actually deserve sympathy. The best part is when the guy made her cut his steak when they went out to dinner. WTF? That chick seriously needs to gain some self-respect.

Also, I saw that episode. Cute girl, but she seems like a bit of an airhead to say the least. Also seems very high-maintenance, one of those Barbie doll types.
