Does anyone watch this show? I caught a re-run late last night and really didn't get what was going on.

Who is dead and who isn't? And why can the dead people be seen?

Judging by some of the words you used, you may not be aware that this show was canceled five years ago. If the subject matter is of interest, you should just watch the show from the beginning. There were only two seasons and one awful movie that came out last year.

I don't know which cast you saw so, basically, anyone who sits around the table at the waffle house is dead and a reaper. I'm not sure how to answer why they can be seen since there's certainly not a scientific reason. The show needs the reapers to interact with the people they reap for the show to work.

5 years really? I could have sworn I saw previews for a new season last year on USA.

The show I saw had the girl who I know was in the first season. She talked to some kid and they both knew they were dead, and everyone else could see them.

Was it that bad of a show?

Not sure what you're referring to, it's been off the air a while (except for the direct to DVD movie that came out last year).

It was a cool show, started on Showtime but eventually I think SciFi started showing the repeats. I think it just did ok, but not good enough to carry on for years. It was a bit quirky, and when I like a show like this it usually doesn't survive that long.

I watched a few episodes on Sci-Fi, mildly entertaining, completely forgettable.
