Re: Zombieland
I enjoyed this but I didn't think it was really that funny at all. It missed on a lot, and I mean A LOT of it's jokes.
That being said, it was fun and I enjoyed it as I watched. Good movie that almost anyone should be able to enjoy."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

But really, it doesn't take away from the film. I thought it was good. It was really fun. Felt like a video game of characters thrown on screen. The action was mixed with some real elements."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Man, tough world. The mutated strain of the mad cow disease doesn't even want blacks to run around like zombies."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
