Dream Theater Black Clouds and Silver Linings

Anyone get Dream Theater's new album yet, or listen too it?

I just started listening to it, I'm through 4 songs and it's great so far.

Didn't know it was out already. Thanks for the heads up. On pure luck, I ran into Dream Theater while they were recording this album. Made my day.

I accidentally started listening to the instrumental first, and I love it. Looks like this is another great album. I'll be playing this in the background while scavenging the Wastelands of Fallout.

EDIT 2: Well this is going to be one of my favorite albums ever. A couple of the DT albums grew on me more than they blew me away on the first listen, but this one knocked me out right from the beginning.

Portnoy broke out with the blast beat, haha! During the last Prog Nation tour or whatever it's called, Mike would have these drum-offs with the guys from Opeth and BTBAM. During one show, the guy from Opeth capped off his session with a blast beat. I think Mike got hooked.

Bought this yesterday. It's solid, overall better than their previous two efforts. I know alot of people have complained about the lyrics, but I honestly don't find them to be that bad. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. Favorite track is the epic The Count of Tuscany.

I don't pay attention to what they're saying anyway, but if people don't like the singing, they can just listen to the bonus CD with only the instrumentals. Something for everyone!

Yeah, I didn't buy the deluxe edition, not THAT big of a fan, Also I read that the guitar solos and such are not included in the instrumentals.
