Re: Michael Jackson has passed away
I'm shocked.
RIPI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Michael Jackson has passed away
You know there will be a million books, not to mention all the whack job conspiracy theories. Someone probably starting inking a book deal the second they heard the news. We'll be hearing that he's still alive for the next 50 years and that he faked his own death a la Elvis.Last edited by matt8204; 06-25-2009, 07:03 PM.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003

Re: Michael Jackson has passed away
I will probably feel more sadden when Patrick Swayze goes. I did like a few of MJ's songs but just the thought that some of the things he was accused of might be true makes it hard for me to feel too awfully sad. I still like to give people the benefit of a doubt though.Last edited by bsb13; 06-25-2009, 07:02 PM.Comment

Re: Michael Jackson has passed away
I can understand it man. I mean his music was a part of you. Like I said who here, if of age, hasn't done a moon walk, or went to school and tried the one glove thing, or didn't have or know somebody and borrow the "red jacket". You don't do those kind of things or have that kind of attachment with just any recording artists. There's singers and dancer and good performers, there are great performers, there are elite performers and then there's Michael Jackson.
Its funny how people are passing condolences and taking shots at him also. Come on guys have some respect.
I love Michael Jackson, his music was definitely a part of my life. 80's kids didn't appreciate his journey. Just like most 70's kids didnt appreciate Jimi Hendrix.
I mean, the man had people around the world wanting to dress like him, HEAD TO TOE!! DAILY!!!Comment

Re: Michael Jackson has passed away
Loved his song, Ben, when I was in 6th grade.
It doesn't matter if MJ hasn't had a hit in awhile, it's the lasting impression he gave as an entertainer/musician in his lifetime.
Heck, are people going to say when Jimmy Page dies, aww heck, not much of an inpact, he hasn't had a hit in a decade.Comment

I know this might come off funny (it's not meant to) but I seriously worry for some of his long time fans who might be so grief stricken that they'll kill themselves tonight.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
