Ever since the Chicken fingers episode, I don't think there has been a funnier show than Community. Big bang, 30 rock, and Always sunny would be it's only competition, but during this stretch if I could only pick one show to watch, it would have to be Community.

Yeah I agree. Beforehand it was a good show but it really stepped up starting with that one and has been excellent every episode, some better than others but all of them IMO have been very good, one of my favorite shows on TV.

It is a tragedy the Big Bang Theory dominantly beats this show in ratings......

Come on. I love Community as much as the next guy, but Big Bang Theory is also a great show. Part of the reason might be that TBBT is a one time showing, while you catch Community on NBC's website... I enjoy both shows, but for that reason alone, I prioritize TBBT because I know I can catch Community the next day on NBC's site, sans commercials.

Am I the only person on earth who finds The Big Bang Theory to be about as funny as Two and a Half Men? Meaning, not funny at all.

And yes, that Two and a Half Men dig was totally necessary.

Nope. I am utterly puzzled as to how either got so popular, and it goes for the entire network. Outside of the odd Letterman show I catch once every blue moon, I don't find any of CBS's shows entertaining.

I watched TBBT a couple of seasons and while I still find it to be funny, I just think there are other shows that are funnier so I give priority to them (Community, 30 Rock, Modern Family).

Kind of a weird episode, I thought. Not very funny, but I thought the satire was good and Pierce's side-story was good. Jeff being the dad of the group was hilarious. The thing at the end with Troy, Abed, and Jeff was awesome.

That whole episode just felt odd. I didn't find Pierce and the old people's story all that funny. And Abed's story had it's moments, but overall, again I didn't find it all that funny.

Jeff was barely in this episode, but when he was it was hilarious.

My favorite part was Duncan flat admitting he's not going to even try to teach any of them anything in their class.

Almost every episode has parodied something. That's the base of the show.

"Community" — The Good News: Thanks to healthy DVD sales, the show has gained some new fans and good word-of-mouth, particularly about last season's paintball episode. It's nestled in a comedy block that does well among the younger 18-to-49 demographic that advertisers love so much. The Bad News: Comedians call it taking the bullet when you're the first act of the night, and that's what "Community" is doing as it tries to warm up the Thursday audience. It's currently hovering around 4.8 million viewers, far fewer than the new show "Outsourced," which has benefited from following "The Office." "Community" is a lot funnier than "Outsourced," but since when has that ever counted for anything?

The Halloween episode should be great. I've been going through the first season on DVD and had forgotten some hilarious lines. Love this show.
