How much is a movie ticket for you?

For a normal new release at the theater how much do you usually pay?

I am lucky and my theater, which is only about 3 years old is only $5.

I dont know what they are now because I haven't been to the movie in years because of the ridiculous prices. The price of admission wasn't too awfully bad, but popcorn/candy prices were way to high. I'm not a huge movie fan anyway, so I dont mind waiting until movies come on TV.

needless to say i don't go to the movies very often. admissions and concessions are ridiculous.

Around 8-10 in the Bronx, Queens or Manhattan(Harlem). Highest I've seen was 12.50 down on 42nd street. Worst theaters ever. Always packed..although I do have some great memories there.

Usually go to Arundel Mills in Maryland now; comfortable stadium seating/great sound/they almost always do a great job making the movie experience enjoyable (don't tolerate talking, kids crying, cell phones, etc.):

Matinee - $8
regular price - $10

Depends upon the movie and day of the week. Today (Thursday) you can see The Hangover for $5 all day, but on Friday it's $5 for the 10 AM, $7.50 for 12:20 PM & 2:45 PM and $10 for 5:10 PM and later. That Friday price is generally the weekend arrangement (Fri-Sun), but can be different depending on the newness and blockbuster quality of the flick. Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaur uses the weekend pricing for today's (Thur) shows.

I believe it's $10.50 in San Diego, California. That's where I am nine months of the year when at school.

Over $30 for two people, medium pop corn and medium drink...plus parking if you go downtown.

I rarely go to the theaters, but most of the ones by me are in the $10-12 range.
