That's why they created Boomerang though. It was originally meant to house the overflow of older cartoon properties and be nostalgic for the older crowd however for the last 5-6 years it's been on an endless loop more or less of old, stodgy and not very good Hanna-Barbera stuff. The few QUALITY H-B stuff has been so played to the point that I doubt anyone cares to watch them anymore.

Cartoon Network should just cut their losses and become Adult Swim...

A better thing to do would be to give Adult Swim it's own channel. That way, they could bring back the Tex Avery Show and Popeye for the people complaining about that, while still being able to experiment with different stuff during the day.

Of course an [as] channel would have a lot of filling out to do with so many shows running at 15 minutes an episode.

[as] only has a few shows that's not anime worth a damn than run 30 minutes and if it means putting on more stupid shows like 12oz Mouse, Tim and Eric and Mighty Boosh, then I'll pass.

Tim & Eric is great, first of all. I'm still lukewarm on Mighty Boosh, but 12 OZ mouse was garbage.

Like you mentioned, there's plenty of anime out there. There would also be the chance for even more original shows like ATHF and Sealab, not to mention all the reruns of those shows. You have 14 seasons of King of the Hill, all the seasons of Family Guy and American Dad, maybe they could even try and get the Simpsons on there.

Again though, more opportunity for original shows would be best. It could be what Super Deluxe was supposed to be.

Nope, it wasn't on after 11, not Adult Swim. It came on around 8 or 9. I remember seeing the preview for it, but I still couldn't believe what I was seeing. My boys were cracking up and you know I've had problems with one of those little meat beaters already. I'm sure that this didn't help. Killed me when she used the lamp as a stripper pole.

What ever happened to those old Fred Quimby cartoons? It don't get any better than this.

LMAO I am surprised this wasn't on Foxnews or CNN with the analysts doing their what about the children speech.

                            Wow!

You'd think this would be all over the news. I know CNN wouldn't really cover it because they're both owned by the same conglomerate but the other news networks should have a field day over this.

                            Crazy stuff either way.

How soon are the Looney Tunes going to be on blu-ray? Anybody know? I really wish somebody would release Tex Avery's Screwball classics on (at the very least) dvd. I had a VHS of his and I wore that thing out as a kid, loved it.
