    Miracle at St. Anna

Got a chance to catch it on Starz this weekend and I must say it's the best WWII movie I've seen since "Saving Private Ryan".

I didn't see "The Two Letters from Iwo Jima", which I also understand was an excellent WWII movie. But I don't get why "Miracle at St. Anna" didn't get much attention considering that it was a good movie.

This was the first Spike film I actually hated. I disliked Bamboozled but I thought this movie was overlong and poorly acted in some parts.

My girl and i saw it at the theaters when it was out last year. It was really good I agree but I wouldn't put it any where near Saving Private Ryan. SPR is on a whole other level. IMO

I liked it, which is a first for a Spike Lee Movie. Great story.

I thought it was pretty good, not great. Probably 2 1/2 out of 5 stars.

I was really excited about it but it was a dissapointment. The acting wasn't very good at all.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

That's how I felt about it. I didn't find it to be anywhere near the level of a SPR.

It was a decent flick but definitely not great.

Wow, nobody really liked this except the OP.

I loved it and would completely agree with the OP

One of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen.

Wasted two and a half hours watching this.

But I'd bet you everybody going to love Quentin Tarantino's movie even if it's a pile of crap.

Nah. This has nothing to do with the director. I LOVE Spike Lee films. Own everyone except for Bamboozled, She Hate Me and MSA. He just did a piss poor job of casting and the movie is about 20 minutes too long.

I'm not a Quentin Tarantino fan at all but that movie looks and sounds entertaining.
