    Re: Trick r' Treat

Just saw the movie, definitely awesome. Really not something that's going to terrify you, but it will certainly make you think a little; it'll make Halloween day feel scarier then it should. However the last story was definitely the most interesting in terms of scare-factor. If the whole movie had been based solely on that event, would of definitely been scarier.

The acting was good and the intertwining stories were interesting as well, but some of it was strange due to the timing of everything. Like the story about the teacher taking place during the beginning while the story of the girl being stalked was after. But once you understood it though, it was good.

It was entertaining to watch. It has four stories that are connected. I reccomend it.

Watching the movie last nite wasn't as scary as i thought it was going to be, but later thinking back on it and talking about it, it seemed sort of scary; again, especially that last story. Good movie though....i guess i can see why no studio decided to pick it up for a theathre release (all the children.....) in the movie

                      Re: Trick r' Treat

I got mine for 25 bucks from AMZ and its definitely worth that considering this movie probably should have been released in the theatres first and then hit DVD/blu-ray.

So, I went ahead and watched this tonight. I will definitely watch it again when I have friends over. The movie is creepy and spooky, though not "jumpy" - not that it really tries to be one of those types of horror films anyway. It has a unique feel to it, in a sense it is retro and traditional, but in another its definitely something new. There are a handful of "oh snap" moments that don't feel like cliches or old tricks, but (for me anyway) I did not see coming at all.

While the movie is basically broken down into several short-stories, it does a good job of connecting them all in a natural way by the time the movie ends that left me satisfied. My two favorite stories was the story at the principal's house and then at the end with Brian Cox.

Basically, this movie was awesome and will be a new and welcome addition to the traditional and required Halloween viewing each year.

Watched this last night. Solid movie, I'd give it about a 7. Very much in the vein of Creepshow and Tales from the Crypt. It was fun, and well done. Worth seeing.

Isn't that the same as the cover of the blu-ray? I haven't seen the blu-ray anywhere just did a search to see how much it was.

I loved the movie. Very sad it wasn't released in theatres, could've been one of those iconic things. Hopefully it works out to that anyway. Sure it wasn't overly scary or gorey but really captured the spirit of Halloween.
