Re: Surround Sound
I would suggest going to AVSForum.com They have tons of good info... Most will tell you to get seperates and this is what I did... I got the Pioneer VSX918K for 200, Thespeakercompany.com LCR2 fronts and center... It sounds terrific. Better then any HTIB you will find.... I had a pair of old HTIB speakers Onkyos that are for my rears.... Now my Pioneer has HDMI and can set it to PCM to pass through Blu Ray sound if you have a compatable player. Onkyo are a great budget receiver "Though they have higher end" Pioneer is decent as well as Yamaha... -
Re: Surround Sound
Yep, buy the pieces separately. Get a receiver that has HDMI that can handle lossless audio. Onkyo is a good budget brand. Don't skimp on your center speaker and subwoofer. You'll also want to make sure your center and fronts match. Rears aren't nearly as important.
Good luck.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 07-12-2009, 09:42 PM.Comment

Re: Surround Sound
Just like wired vs wireless internet. Going to get wayyyy faster speeds on a wire then you are sending it through the air.
How? I don't know. I am amazed by how a radio and radio signals work.Comment

Re: Surround Sound
More likely to have interference. No chance that wireless will be better. Just a question if you can live with it for the convience of no wires.Comment
