Buckcherry is awful, I can't stand the singer's voice. Hinder is terrible. Nickelback obviously. Good Charlotte. Most artists on the pop stations, I don't really know who most of them are though.

All of these new hard rock bands sound exactly alike. They just find someone who sings like they are a lumberjack cutting down a tree and add some music to it.

I guess it comes down to whether you like the genre in the first place. To me, Shinedown (good) and Hinder (bad) sound nothing alike, because I actually listen to the genre.

I could make a comment like this about rap, because I don't listen to it and all the mainstream stuff sounds the same to me. But someone who actually enjoys rap can pick up the subtle difference between a good rapper and a bad one.

I hate Hinder, and most bands of their ilk, but IMO you are painting with too broad a brush if you are lumping Shinedown in with that group.

To each his own, though.

Yea I like Shinedown ok. They aren't my favorite band in the world, but I think they are a lot better than most of the other mainstream rock bands. If nothing else, their singer is a lot better than bands like Hinder or Nickelback, they sound nothing alike.
