    What about Adam West? Guy wasn't exactly packing on the muscles back then.

      That's true, but he was the cape crusader, not the Dark Knight; you can't have a guy dressed in a bat suit going around in the middle of the night fighting thugs and criminals only weighing 140lbs can you?

        True. Though, I think it's more awkward to have a 140 lb guy running around in the daytime wearing a blue suit fighting bad guys.
