    Dating in the dark...

Did anyone watch the premier just a few moments ago?

    I think it's a pretty neat concept.

For those not aware of the show...

My wife and I watched it. Pretty interesting concept. Nice to see that they don't have the typical beautful, hollywood types and instead have some pretty average looking people, at least for reality TV's sake.

I caught the last ten or fifteen minutes of the show. Seems interesting, although I am not a big fan of reality television...especially the garbage that you'll find on ABC. If my girlfriend decides she wants to watch it again then I wouldn't mind sitting through some more of it...with my laptop of course.

Edit: I felt kind of bad for the one guy that got stood up. That girl who blew him off seems very shallow to me. At least give the guy a chance instead of coming off as a jackass on national television.

I'm sure there is a lot of coaching from the executives.

The way I see it, is whether or not you found a connection, you would make both yourself and the other person look better by showing up on the balcony. The other person doesn't get stood up in front of America and you don't look like a pretentious a-hole that is only concerned with looks. You don't have to marry the person, but at least save them the embarrasment...that is unless they did something to warrant it. Other than that, show up, make it look good and then call it off after the next date or something.

But lets be honest...if every person did that, the show wouldn't get the attention it wants.

              Exactly...

The dude who got stood up wasn't a bad looking dude either. He seemed funny. Anf it wasn't like she was all that jazz either...Cute, but nothing special...

I'm surprised that Allister showed up, but good on him for looking past her looks...The way she was reacting, she is clearly not confident about her looks.

Finally got around to watching this last night with my wife. I must say it was pretty good. I can't stand the bachelor and bachelorette crap that my wife watches but this was alright. Good concept.

When they both stand there in the dark and then the light turns on to reveal one of them wouldn't it be funny as hell if when they turn the light on to reveal the other person they were gone. All you here is the door slam.

Anyone watch the new episode the other night? The girl that got rejected is an actress, she was in a couple of episodes of Scrubs.

I could not stand hearing that girl from Boston talk. It reminded me of the Patriots Cowboys game I went to a couple years ago....I just can't handle accents like that. The girl that didn't got stood up had it coming....I would not go for someone that prays in front of me for me to find God and all that stuff that comes with it. No way.

That was a pretty interesting twist in tonight's episode...

The guy was 26 years old...It's not like there was a 7 year gap between him and Jen or Sasha...

Some of these broads are way too conceaded...
