I was thinking the same thing. I thought I heard that Russell Simmons was paying $40,000/month to his ex and he's got two or three kids by his ex. Not to mention Rus has got to be worth a heck of a lot more than Nas. Tough judge or bad lawyer or both.

How can the lawyers and judge expect Nas to be able to pay that much money for the kid until he/she becomes an adult. Is Nas really going to be that relevant in the next 15-18 years? I'm not discrediting Nas, I love him....I just don't see how much more he can accomplish in that time frame.
