I don't get what made anyone excited about it in the first place, the trailers looked terrible. Every person I know who saw the movie have said that they're mad about wasting their money on it.

Oh, that's right, noone else is allowed an opinion. We realize you didn't wanna see this based on earlier posts, yet you insist on telling everyone not to see it.

Actually had a couple buddies see this last night and said it was decent for an action flick, nothing more. I'll rent it when it's out. I was gonna see it in 3D, but after hearing that the 3D effects were nothing to write home about, I just figured i'd wait it out. Saw Hot Tub Time Machine last night instead, and it was absolutely hilarious.

lol that was my second post in this thread and the only one that said anything about what I thought of the movie's quality based on the trailers.

Ok. Just got back from watching this. Anyone who saw the original will be slightly confused as to why they changed it, I know I was. The original is waaaay better than this one. The guy that played Perseus did not do a very good job. Harry Hamlin made you take on Perseus's plight and root for him. I did not like this guy. Also the plot was stupid. The only thing better in this one over the original is the graphics.

I am going out to best buy and purchase the original just to get the taste of this one out of my mouth/sight. Not a very good movie, action or otherwise.

There was a line where Perseus called Medusa a b*tch....somethin like "Now let's go cut this b*tch's head off" or somethin. That sunk my heart. I was mad at myself for paying to see it even for a Matinee. I don't want to see this actor (the guy from avatar) in anything else for a very...very...very long time. For me, I think he's now become one of those actors that completely kills my interest in a movie simply because he was cast as a lead.

Also, the guy that I assume was supposed to be the comedic relief...sucked at bein comedic relief. His "Okay, now who's first?" line at the River Styxx just bombed embarrasingly.

The battle with Medusa sucked absolute azz

Yeah, when I heard that line I thought to myself "was that supposed to be funny?" Again, the guy that played perseus was not good at all. Did you catch the reference to Bubo?

Yeah I caught that. To me they basically dissed Bubo...as if to say the the original flick sucked

You keep calling him the guy who plays... surely you know his name by now? Sam Worthington...

He can act but just can't do accents. He pretty much will have to be cast as an Aussie character in any movie without sounding out of place.
