    Windows 7 RC

Just installed Windows 7 and I must say it is a big improvement. So much faster than my Vista install. I am still dual booting my system with Windows 7 and Ubuntu but it looks like I will be back to the Windows side more now. Is anyone else trying Windows 7 out?

My cousin has it. He said he loves how much faster it is and how simplified the menus are and he's not looking to go back to Vista at all. Looks like MS may have another XP on their hands (thank you jeebus)

It's much improved over Vista but I still enjoy Mac OS X more

I've had it on my work laptop for months, it runs really well.

I've been using it for a while now and it's great. Pretty much all of my old programs work perfectly fine on it, and the OS itself runs perfectly for the most part. I haven't had many issues - just little ones here and there, but it's just an RC.

Ya, I'm hearing good things about 7... even from my buddy who is huge a Mac fan.

I've already pre-ordered. Not gonna mess around with the RC because it will be more of a hassle to get my system ready for the final version when it releases.

I've had it since it released to the public. I love it. It's fast, runs without a hitch, and has great new keyboard shortcuts for use with the new taskbar (which is also great).

Windows 7 is pretty solid. I've been running it on one of my notebooks sine January/February. Still many things they need to do but it is a solid improvement. The GUI has been reworked pretty well.

I installed it on my laptop and it permanently ****ed up my laptop...very upset about that. I don't see how you guys don't have problems with it...and this is coming from a guy that works with computers for a living.

I was unable to shut the computer off normally, so I had to either hold the power button down or take the plug/battery out if I wanted to shut it off. I did this numerous times until I started having hard drive issues, and I ultimately went back to windows xp.

                          Is it still doing that?

It is running nice on my laptop, sorry to hear that. I still have to test my TV card with it, but I am loving Windows 7.
