Supposedly everyone that we see on TV has already auditioned in front of another panel, and they purposely pick god awful people, and that is how they end up getting onto TV. They bait and switch them into thinking they can really sing and then demoralize them when it counts.Comment

Though for at least the 2.5 seasons I watched, at least 70-80% of the bad auditions were just attention whores who know they suck but want to be on TV. In the beginning I'm sure there were some real bad people who thought they could sing, but at this point, I'm skeptical.Comment

I thought that was obvious. They clearly aren't going to have a stadium full of people go through the judges.

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
