Dark Blue

Anyone catch this yet? I completely forgot about it last week. Watched the pilot last night at TNT.com and so far so good.

I DVR'd it. I thought it looked pretty interesting from the previews earlier in the summer. I'd like to hear what other people thought.

For those out there that don't know about Dark Blue trust me the show pretty solid. It may seem like a typical cop drama but it does have it's own flair for dramatics. You have a small unit of under cover policemen who have no ties whatso ever to the police that only their captain knows who they really are. They basically have no identity and all are unique. Carter(Dylan McDermitt) is the leader and seems as though he doesn't bath nor shave before every episode. I mean this guy "always" looks like crap! I'm not real familiar with the actors name but I know their character's, like Tye. He's your basic tough brother from the hood and knows how to keep cool in messed up situations. As tough as he is he has an achilles heel....he's homesick. He misses the wife and almost gets he killed on one occasion trying to sneak home .....on duty. Jaime is another of Carters undercover unit. She is pretty green at the game and is basically learning things on the fly. Her judgement may even get her killed because though her past is rough she acts naive and unaware at times. But not to worry I saved the best for last. Carters best pupil is Dean. Dean has a little problem of his own. He suffers from being a crook all the time. As a matter of fact he carries the role all to well and is a real treat to watch this dude act. He is the main reason to watch this show because you never know what this dude is thinking though his judgement may be aliitle flawed it comes off very justified.

watched the 1st episode and thought it was good. Since both The Shield and the Wire are over this helps with replacing them. How many episodes have been shown so far?

Watched the episode I DVR'd. It was the one where you learn about the girl officer's past. Was this the first or the second one?

I do hope along the way with the show, they do bring in New Characters because it would get very predictable if you keep having close calls every week.
