Seeing a Concert Tommorrow....
At Fed Ex field, and appreciate it if you guys could reccomend what time to leave so I can get there comfortably. I've never been to one before and I live about 45 minutes away from the stadium on a perfect day with no traffic. The concert is at 7ish. Do you think if I leave the house at 4 pm I should be straight? I know that traffic will be absolutely horrible, so I'm preparing for the worst. Thanks!

Re: Seeing a Concert Tommorrow....
Are you planning on getting there early?
If not, if you leave at 4 you'll get there WAY early.
Assuming you're going to the Paul McCartney concert, I'd leave at 5-5:30 if you want to be a few minutes early.
I'm thinking you'll be coming from the Baltimore side. Coming from the other side (same distance, Frederick vs Baltimore) I'd leave about 1:30-2:00 hours early if you aren't planning anything special beforehand. However, depending on the traffic, you could easily make it in an hour or less. I'd imagine that most traveling fans will have stayed in the DC area, so 95 should be fine.
I've traveled to CP before 'Skins games and haven't encountered traffic close to that of a bad rush hour.Comment

Re: Seeing a Concert Tommorrow....
Thinking about it, leaving a few minutes before 5 might be best.
After all, there are enough New Jersey transplants (and a few stupid locals) who might decide that getting into a 3 lane accident might be funny.
Yes Mr. White Van and Black Sedan who apparently tapped each other's vehicles with absolutely no damage yesterday on 495 during rush hour yet decided to stop in the middle of the road and wait for a policeman to come, I am looking at youComment
