That was incentive enough for me. I saw this today with a female friend who had been wanting to see it. It really wasn't a bad movie. Longed for more football action but it was fine. Lots of funny parts. Sandra Bullock was great in her role and looked gorgeous as usual. Honestly, Tim McGraw did a nice job in his role. Good date movie, fellas.

      I will warn you though...

How do you know if you haven't seen it? I don't think he came off as a moron. Just a quiet kid who had some academic struggles, at no fault of his own since most of his life he didn't have the support to see him through success in school.

As a Raven fan I had to see it. Had it's moments but nothing great.
Bullock is nice but was much better younger.

Most actresses are. Still say she's better than those her age though.

Well, from the commercials this movie looked destined for failure imo, but right now it's holding up a 7.4 from IMDB and 72 from RT, so perhaps it's worth a look.

Saw it tonight with this girl I'm dating. I loved the movie. I was glad it didn't focus more on football action because let's be honest, you can't simulate a football game with actors. It comes off looking fake and cheesy.

All the little jokes in it were hilarious.

Saw it tonight. It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it was DEFINITELY better than I expected. With very few exceptions, they seemed to stay true to the book, and Oher wasn't portrayed as a moron. Just a quiet, reserved kid who was out of his element (just like in the book).
