Re: Sons of Anarchy Season 2

I liked this episode but does anyone think that things happened too fast. In this episode, Opie finds out who killed Donna, almost kills Stahl and then forgives Clay and Tig. This **** all happened in one day. We spent the whole season building up to this and to see it get resolved in one episode was kind of quick.

Opie didn't forgive Clay and Tig. He read John Teller's book. He is going along with Jax's plan. It's good to see that.

Sucks there is just 2 more episodes left. I wish it was like a 20+ episode season. This show is just too good.

For me forgiving Tig and Clay is not killing them.

As far as Stahl, I think that Opie gave her a "wake up call" so, maybe she'll realize her mistakes and back off on Chibbs.
Yeah, I think Stahl has been awoken. I think she even get SAMCRO's assault charges thrown out.

Yeah Tig is definitely going off the deep end. I think the shrooms are still in his system. Well, that and the guilt was getting to him.

Really, things did happen awfully fast.

Every Tuesday night, myself and about 8 of my buddies chill and watch this show and we all agreed, they should have spaced that **** out a bit. Everyone's mind was flipped when something happened, then after the next commercial (which was hardly enough time to soak up what we just witnessed) they sprung something else epic on us..

We go several episodes with few big news coming, then WHAM!

                    Some serious ****!

Thats exactly how i felt. I'm just clearing my head about the whole Tig/Jemma hookup and 30 seconds later Tig is admitting he killed Donna. I had to rewind the Tivo and watch it again just because I was shocked it happened so quick.

Yeah, great TV. SoA is just one of those show's I can't help but watch every time I see it on. Hell, last night I started watching the repeat immediately after the first one aired. I'm guessing that a main character gets whacked before the end of the season. But who? Piney, Chibbs, Tigg? I don't think it will be Opie now...... Anyways I can't wait for next Tuesday...

                        P.S. That's what she said

This was the best episode of this show, ever. I can't even begin to highlight how awesome it was. Well, maybe I can:

-Tig is more of man than any of us thought.
                          -Opie finally wisened up
-Gemma was hurting more than anyone realized, even us viewers had no idea
-Clay seems to realize now that Jax's plays are the smarter ones, and is giving him more say
-Piney is an amazingly well-written character, that scene was awesome
-The club forgave Chibbs based on Opie's heart
                          -Stahl has been humanized

                          EDIT:
-Unser has shown that he doesn't just help the club because Clay has stuff on him, he genuinely cares about Gemma and does it because of loyalty to her

Also... The look on Hale's face when Unser said, "Consider yourself acting chief." That look was priceless. It looked like Hale's respect for Unser jumped about a hundred notches due to him realizing that Unser is the most loyal person he's ever known. It also set it up for Hale to look like he may end up helping. He seems to like Gemma, Opie and Jax; and despises his brother and Zobelle.

I also think we underestimated SoA's power. Did you all notice the change in Jimmy O's tone when Clay threatened to pull support in Belfast? When the head of the IRA fears something you say, you have some SERIOUS power.

Good post. I always thought Tig had it in him-I mean the guy goaded some mean a$$ bounty hunters into beating him up so they had to delay transporting him. The thing with Gemma was a little weird at first, but it pushed him into telling Opie the truth, and giving Clay some sage advice about his wife. I think you're right but stay tuned for the humanization of Stahl. I am not of the opinion that too much was revealed in this episode. On the contrary, the timing was perfect.

How does this not get bumped after last night's episode? It was AWESOME to say the least. Seeing Tara grow some balls and take care of her own problem was great, as was the tension with Hale and the club. I can't wait for the season finale next week.

Is it just me or does this freaking show just keep get better and better with each passing episode? There's going to be a huge void in my life after next week. I guess I need to find a new drama to take the place of Sons until next season. Sorry for going off topic, I was just thinking out loud (kind of).

Anyways, the scene where Tara took up for herself was great. I've had a few co-workers that I would've loved to do that to. :o
