    Sirius XM question

I subscribe to Sirius and listen to it at work on the internet and in my car on my car stereo. I just bought a new receiver for my home theater which is Sirius/XM enabled. If I want to use Sirius on that do I need to buy another subscription or can I just call and activate the hardware with Sirius to use it?

I really don't want to pay another subscription as I won't use it to listen to the radio that much but if I already have the capability I figured why not use it.

Yes you have to pay for another subscription but it's not full price if I remember correctly is something like 6 or 7 bucks

I'm looking to sell my Sirius stuff (Starmate, boombox, car and home kits) b/c South Carolina and the rest of the SEC switched over to XM.

It sucks that since the merger, you still have to pay extra if you want the other stations. They call it the "best of" XM or Sirius..depending on which one you need.

Seems like XM is the way to go since they picked up the NFL. Stern may be the only reason to go with Sirius.

          MVB, go to siriusbackstage.com

When I started using Sirius back in 2005, that's where I went to get the info I needed. Also went back when I got my most recent radio(the Sportster 5 with replay ability)and they helped out a ton.

I don't think i'll add the sirius to my receiver then as I probably will hardly ever use it to be honest, i just figured i might as well enable it if it was something i was paying for.

Did Sirius ever get MLB? I know they were in negotiations...

XM got the NFL relatively soon after the merger

What channel is the NFL on XM?

                  I've never heard it yet!

Still, nothing beats driving along listening to all the baseball games in the summer on XM. Worth the price of subscription right there!
