    A few mp3 player questions

My ipod is probably going to die soon and I was looking at some mp3 players.

How are these two players http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Zen-V...0524578&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...0524642&sr=8-1 ?

    Are they rhapsody compatible?

And how are the zunepass and rhapsody subscriptions and can you actually download unlimited music from them for a fixed price?

Will my current itunes library work on the mp3?

Sorry, don't know about Zune players or Rhapsody. But how do you know your Ipod is gonna die soon? What kinda of Ipod is it? I have an 8 gig that is around 4 years old that still runs fine although I primarily use my touch now.

Well I know the battery is going to need replacing soon as the charge has been slowly decreasing to the point that now it only lasts two hours before going dead. I'm thinking that I'd be saving more cash getting an mp3 and an unlimited download music service than replacing my IPod battery with the amount of cash I'll spend on music. It's a 30 gig ipod video so It's around 3 years old and it's supposed to be able to play 14 hours of music

So the music files won't work on the mp3s?

And I think me getting an mp3 is definatly going to happen. The unlimited downloads for a fixed price is HUGE for me with the number of bands that I like.

comparing Zune marketplace to Itunes, zune is no where near Itunes,Itunes has more songs in it's software, but if you like Zune's deal, take it

Rhapsody has great deals (better than itunes) in terms of your money, but like i said ''Itunes has a massive library of songs, videos, podcast, movies etc.'' but the thing that i really hate about ipods is the battery life,it's horrible

Not exactly. Especially now that the iTunes store sells most of it's music without DRM, it's pretty easy to get it onto any player.

As for using a current iTunes library, it all depends on the DRM. If the songs are in the iTunes program but not purchased from the iTunes store, it should be no problem to get them onto a non-Apple player. If they have FairPlay DRM, it's a bit trickier but still doable.

Marquette Golden Eagles | Milwaukee Bucks | Milwaukee Panthers
