You're all a bunch of old fat losers...
According to this study:
A new study says the average age of video-game players in the United States is 35, and oh, by the way: They're overweight and tend to be depressed...

Meh, I don't understand "studies." If I wasn't a part of this survey, I'm not included in the study.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

I'm far from 35, and far from depressed, this study means nothing to me.Comment

Re: You're all a bunch of old fat losers...
This study does nothing but reinforce negative stereotypes.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play some Madden 10 and cry over how I can't get a girlfriend due to my severe obesity...

Re: You're all a bunch of old fat losers...
This is either MSNBC taking a study way out of context or possibly one of the least scientific studies ever done.
This is kin to the study a year or two back that used urban free clinic data to extrapolate that like 30% of the country had STDs.
For this to be true, the number of gamers ranging from ages 10-20 would be roughly equal to those ranging from 50-60.
My guess is MSNBC ****ed upComment

Re: You're all a bunch of old fat losers...
That would imply that there are 8 folk age 35-40 for every 10-20 year old.
The data was skewed because they only chose 18+.
However, I'm assuming that the scientists said that this was the average age of adult gamers (still wrong though).Comment
